The machine with the DVI connector may or may not support VGA output via an adapter (depends on the graphics card), but if it does you can hook up the VGA output to the same converter box and have all 3 on your TV.

I'm trying to hook up my macbook pro to my new panasonic viera smart tv. I'm using an HDMI cable connected to a mini hdmi to my mac. It's always worked fine with my old tv and now on my new TV I'm getting a "no signal" message on my TV. If I check Display and Audio in my system preferences it shows the TV as detected.
